On October 4, 2016, Hurricane Matthew made landfall in southwestern Haiti. In its wake, the hurricane severely damaged around 200,000 homes. Thankfully, all of the staff and leaders (200 strong) across the country are safe! However, three Young Life areas were hit hard by the hurricane and 10 leaders' homes were either damaged or destroyed on the coast along with many homes of the kids and families they serve.
