About Young Life Ethiopia
Young Life has a rich history in Ethiopia dating back to 1999 when Chuck and Linda Reinhold, Young Life veterans from the United States, moved into the neighborhood of Addis Ababa. Chuck began telling kids about the love of Jesus and teaching them leadership skills. Chuck also worked with the surrounding communities to identify, disciple and train Young Life leaders to work in this difficult neighborhood. From this beginning, it was demonstrated that the basic principles of Young Life work very well in an African culture and Young Life quickly took root in several neighborhoods and high schools in and around Addis Ababa.Young Life Expeditions has been sending Teams to Ethiopia since 2006.

Dates: June 2-14, 2017
Cost: $4,000
Includes round-trip airfare from Atlanta, all lodging, ground transportation, meals, safari, and YLA ministry donation. Does not include visas and incidentals.
How to Apply:

- Reference required. Send this >>link to one reference involved in Young Life. If you aren’t involved in Young Life, we request two references one of a spiritual nature.
- $250 deposit due upon pending application. Send deposit payable to: Young Life (Attn: XET01 – Ethiopia 2017) P.O. Box 1293, Danville, CA 94526. If you’d prefer to pay online, we will send you instructions after your application is completed.
Additional Details:
- Application approval by our staff is pending until your reference has been accepted. If you do not receive a reference then your deposit will be refunded.
- Group minimum is 10 people. If this minimum is not met by March 1 then the Expedition may be canceled and your deposit will be refunded.
- Our complimentary travel insurance covers things like trip delays, lost luggage, emergency medical or security evacuations.
