We are the Wyckoff Family, and we are trusting the Lord to lead us through our first adoption journey. We have been married for 9 years and always felt a calling from the Lord to one day adopt a child. We have 4 biological children that are 5 years and under (yes we know we are a little crazy). To add to the craziness we feel like the Lord is asking us to step out in faith and adopt a young child from Colombia. We know we have more room in our hearts and more love to share with a child who is in need of a loving family. We want our children to know that sometimes the blessings in life don't always come from the easiest choices, but God uses those things to refine us and to make us more like Him. To the world, adoption doesn't always make sense because it's challenging, adds chaos, and expensive but it's worth it to us to be obedient to God's calling. When we searched for reasons to ignore the calling, they were all just empty and selfish reasons to not adopt. So now we eagerly wait and fervently pray for our child. We trust that the Lord will provide the funds we need in His timing, and we invite you to join us in this adoption journey by praying for our child and supporting us financially. We need prayers and most importantly God's grace daily during this process! More and more of His grace!
