I am so excited to be adopting another precious child in need of a forever family. Adoption is one of the purest examples of God's love for us. In James 1:27, God clearly instructs us to "...look after orphans..." My journey of caring for orphans began over 23 years ago when I first began to financially sponsor orphans and children in need. Since that time, God has continued to increase my passion for helping orphans not only through the children I sponsor, but also through mission trips and various service opportunities. However, the greatest blessing in my life came just over eight years ago when I answered God's call on my life to adopt a beautiful girl in need of a forever family. She is so amazing and I can't imagine my life without her. She is full of love, joy, and lots of energy. At this time, I am once again obediently responding in faith to His call on my life to adopt a little girl from China who is also in need of a mommy to love her, provide for her, and tell her about Jesus. I have not been matched yet with my daughter but I am anxiously waiting to see her picture and move one step closer to holding her in my arms. I can't wait to give her the love, security, and hope she deserves. Meanwhile, I am praying for her health and safety while we are apart.
