We are the Stromberg family. Lars, Katie, Quinn & Albin. We are a family, but we are not yet complete, because somewhere in China a little girl will be born, who was meant to become our daughter. Our path to China has been long. What began as a stirring in Katie's heart as a teenager after watching family friends adopt from China, became a calling after she visited an orphanage in China during college. A calling that was confirmed when God clearly aligned our hearts to the dream in our early days of dating and on into marriage. We have experienced God's leading in each step of our family's journey, in the joy of welcoming two sons biologically, through the grief of multiple pregnancy losses, and into the hope of meeting our 'someday' daughter from China. Our dream of a Chinese adoption has been years in the making, and finally the time has come. We have a daughter in China. She is precious in God's sight. We pray for her by name.
