Chris and I are so excited to announce that we are growing our family through domestic infant adoption! After several years of trying to conceive unsuccessfully, including some expensive fertility treatments, we asked God for direction for our family. During that time we drew strength from many of God's promises, but one that I read every single day was Psalm 71:14, "As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more." Now, we have an opportunity to offer that hope to a baby in our area. We have hope because of Jesus and because He first loved us! Adoption was always something we were interested in, but we didn't think it would be our primary focus this early on until just recently when we were on vacation and God spoke to us through our bible study that said, "Why not assume you should adopt kids unless you hear His voice telling you not to? Why not take action? Why wait for an audible voice when God has already told you what to do in His Word?" He has told us that true religion is to care for widows and orphans. (James 1:27) We immediately prayed and started taking action. God has already done a great work in our hearts. We know that everyone is not called to adopt-but everyone can do something to help orphans and widows in some way! It's our prayer that you would consider partnering with us to help offset the financial burden of adoption by choosing our adoption as your outreach to orphans! We are fully trusting God to meet all of our needs throughout this adoption-financially, emotionally, and even spiritually.
