About this Fundraiser

Hi! We are the Root family and we are adopting our first child through domestic adoption. We have only been married a few years but knew from the start that we wanted to have a family together. Kyle has a daughter, Ashton (17), from a previous marriage who is graduating from high school. And while we would have loved to have given her a a blood sibling, the Lord had other plans to grow our family. Before marriage, the Lord had placed adoption on Amy's heart and so we were quick to realize that this was ultimately God's plan for us. We continually pray for the child the Lord has now identified for us and are anxiously awaiting his or her arrival! "Every good and perfect gift is from above." James 1:17 Family and friends have expressed an interest in being part of the journey to bring our child home through a financial gift. Because of their encouragement and support, we have chosen to be a part of AdoptTogether, which makes any gift tax-deductible. Thank you for any support you may give and for supporting our journey to parenthood together.
