Hi! We are Ethan and Moriah Davis. We currently have 5 children and have been married for 14 years. We have 4 boys - all biological, and 1 daughter whom we adopted from China almost 2 years ago. Our desire to adopt stems from Ephesians 1 where we learn that God chose us to be adopted into His family through Jesus Christ. We would like our family and home to be a place where our children - whether adopted or biological - learn of God's gracious love for them, and the gift He has given of His Son, Jesus Christ. God placed in our hearts a love for those with special needs by graciously giving us our first son in 2006. He was born with Down Syndrome and has added color and joy to our life that we didn't know we needed! Since then, we have had an increasing love for people with unique challenges and, in 2014, we adopted a 5-year old girl from China with Neurofibromatosis Type 1. We are currently in the process of adopting our second daughter from China - an 8 year old girl we have named Evangeline. Evangeline has Down Syndrome and possibly some other related challenges as well. Our hope is to be able to travel by August 2016. In the meantime, we are continuing to fill out paperwork and raise funds as the Lord sees fit.
