Dear Friends, Over the last 5 years God has begun stirring in the hearts of our family about adopting a child. We have stepped out on faith and have begun our journey. Our home study was started on February 17th, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed in 90 days. Once our home study has been completed our adoption agency, Holt International, will then start the process of getting all the information together to be sent to China. We are trusting that God will provide the resources we need for the actual adoption and we are also going to be saving all that will be needed to cover the immediate medical expenses associated with adopting a child with special needs. We strongly believe that adoption is close to the heart of God. As believers in Christ we have been adopted into the family of God. As James, the brother of Jesus, says: Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
