UPDATE: So here's our really big, really exciting news: WE ARE DONE FUNDRAISING! I know some of you might be looking at our AdoptTogether page and scratching your head because it's not computing. We've received some incredibly generous donations outside of the AdoptTogether page that make up for the difference. So we can't thank all of you enough for getting us to this place! There's no way to completely express how humbling it is to be recipients of such generosity. --------------------- We are excited for this next chapter in our lives together and welcome you to join us in it! After being married for 4 years and contemplating what it could like to begin our family, we experienced an unexpected turn of events that brought us to the point of deciding to begin the adoption process. Adoption has always been a conversation for us, and although the timing of this was unexpected, the decision is not. Domestic infant adoption is the route we have selected for a variety of reasons. And as you probably know, there are lots and lots of fees associated with this process. It is our goal to cover 50% of the adoption costs ourselves and fundraise the remaining amount. We have lots of creative ideas that we are excited to share with you throughout the process. Please know that we are incredibly grateful and humbled that you would even consider joining us in this way. Adoption is beautiful, humbling, painful, and raw.
