Hello, my name is Heidi, I am a licensed Christian Child Care Provider, my husband's name is Allen he is a Union Carpenter. We have three boys, and reside in Mahtomedi MN. I (Heidi), was adopted at two months old and have always had a special place in my heart to adopt a child with special needs. God, has been tugging at our hearts, but the timing wasn't right until last October. Samuel 1:27 "We prayed for this child, and the lord had granted us what we asked of him." He led us to a beautiful three year old little girl from Colombia who we call Annie that has been in the hospital since she was nine months old and only weighing ten pounds. She has lung disease, hole in her heart, developmentally delayed, and considered special needs. When you read through all her medical needs, you can't believe how much this child has suffered. As God said in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you." We are so grateful for all the blessings and prayers thus far, but we need your help with travel cost to bring our little girl home. We don't know how or where the money will come from, but what we do know is that we trust in God with all our heart as he will direct our path as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6. UPDATE: We received our Article 5, which means we are free to travel. We are short with our funds and really need your help. We did not qualify for any grants because the funding isn't there.
