Hi! We are Jesse and Anna Pawley. We have been married almost 3 years, and God made it evident to both of us before we even met that he wanted us to be adoptive parents. Jesse is a minister in a church and loves working with students. Anna works for an orphan care ministry and has enjoyed walking families through their adoption processes. Recently, however, we felt God telling us it was our turn! Adoption has been a calling and a dream for our family for a long time. We started the process to adopt a child from Ethiopia, however, rumors of changed policies have made us rethink the country we should adopt from. After much thought and prayer, we felt God leading us to switch countries to pursue an adoption from Colombia! Colombia appears to be a more predictable, possibly faster, process, which is a better fit for our family at this time. Our child will have some kind of special need, but we are unsure what at this time. This unexpected change in countries has added some unexpected fees as well, but we trust in a God who will provide, and we greatly appreciate your support and assistance in bringing our little one home!
