Have you heard the exciting news? We are growing our family through adoption and Living, Tessa, and I could not be happier! We have spent the last two and a half years compiling mountains of paperwork (a.k.a the dossier), submitting multiple government filings both here in the US and in China, subjected ourselves to local, state, and federal background checks, and waiting (the waiting has been the worst!). Unfortunately we are still waiting but we are hoping that we will be matched soon, and so we have begun our fundraising! We will let you know as soon as we have been matched, what a joyous day that will be! Adoption, domestic or international, typically costs ~$30,000, and we expect that our adoption will cost around this amount.
