We are a family of three looking to be a family of four. Kelly and Frank met in 2006 and formed a strong relationship. In 2007, we were married and started a wonderful life together. In 2009, we decided it was time to welcome another member to our family. However, it took two years before Laiclan made his appearance. There were complications with the pregnancy and a traumatic labor and birth. Laiclan almost didn’t make it and Kelly didn’t fair very well either. After talking to the doctors, it was decided that another pregnancy was too big of a risk to take. So began our discussion of adoption as an option to grow our family. We researched it and talked about it for three years before committing to it. Laiclan is now four years old and loves the idea of having a baby brother or sister. We are Home Study approved and will be doing a domestic adoption. We are excited and can't wait to bring home Baby McIntosh.
