Hello from the Lewis family! I am the wife of Nathan and mother of Emery and Asher. Nathan and I have been married for 13 years now. We met late in college and haven't looked back since. It was in college that I heard the call to adopt. I was a student in Hong Kong. I got to travel into China and Thailand while I was there. While traveling I saw things that were amazing and beautiful but I also saw things that broke my heart. It was then at age 22 that I heard Gods call. I knew I would be back someday. I told Nathan about this calling when we were dating. He was very much on board with adoption. My grandmother was adopted. I would not be who I am today if Nancy Lucky had not opened her heart and home to my grandmother. Nathan's grandfather was also adopted. The same is true for him. Someone opened there heart to him and that helped mold Nathan into the man he is today. Adoption is very important to both of us. This child will be so loved. This child has been on our hearts for many years. As I said earlier this child has been in my heart since I was a nieve 22-year-old backpacking in Asia. I have thought of her daily for years. We have looked into adoption many times but did not believe that we could actually afford it. We are finally ready to take this leap of faith! We finally believe!! It feels so wonderful to finally be doing what God called me to do so long ago.
