Welcome and thank you for being part of our family's story. Our 2 yr. old son is scheduled to come home from China in the next couple months! Deuteronomy 10:18; He defends the cause of the fatherless... We are a family built on God's love for us, and we have been changed forever by adoption. Throughout our journey to have a family, we endured infertility treatments, we suffered miscarriages, and survived cancer, but through it all, God never left us, and he turned all of the suffering into our greatest joy. We have seen miracles beyond our imagination and our hearts have been changed by adoption. Our oldest daughter came to us through adoption, which was a miracle in itself considering the obstacles that were placed in our path along the way such as cancer, moving to another state, impossible paperwork hurdles turned into amazing miracles (ask Christin sometime!)...and it was all orchestrated to bring our girl home at just the perfect time. She has filled our hearts with joy and made us parents. Less than a year after Sophie came home, we were surprised and blessed by our younger daughter's arrival (another 0% chance turned miraculous!). Our hearts are for adoption, but we are very aware that adoption comes from a place of great loss. What we wouldn't give to see ALL children able to be cared for well and raised by their birth parents. This sadly is not the reality for millions of children.
