Through a partnership with a child sponsorship program in Belo and Zeway, God gave us a love for the people of Ethiopia. We had the opportunity to visit two of the children we sponsored and see the organization at work, and on our return flight we spoke with several new adoptive parents who were joyfully bringing their children home. We knew that adoption would be part of our story, but we didn't know how or when. We proceeded to pray for God's timing. Three years later, after our first daughter was born, the fire for adoption in us was reignited and we began to pursue bringing our next baby home from Ethiopia. We are now on a waiting list for an Ethiopian boy or girl and are thrilled at what the next couple years has for us as we patiently wait. Our entire journey has been eagerly trying to walk in obedience to what God is asking. We don't know what the future looks like for our family, but we are trusting in God's faithfulness.
