The idea of adoption slowly crept into our lives. Looking back now, it is easy to see God's fingerprints as He began to put our family together. After years of infertility, we were blessed to give birth to twin daughters in 2003. In 2005 we surprisingly gave birth to our son; so we went from 0 to 3 kids in 16 months! God is always good! In 2007, Jennie was able to go with our church to the Philippines for her first mission trip. Ideas of adoption began to develop but it wasn't until 2 years later when God confirmed it in both of our hearts. Since then, Jennie has been able to go back 2 more times on mission trips. In 2009, we decided to begin the adoption process and wanted to adopt a boy between the ages of 2-5. After two years had gone by, we decided we would be willing to adopt a sibling pair. God has a way of turning our hearts to become more like His and that is what happened when this past March we saw 3 beautiful siblings on a waiting list. We inquired about them and the longer it took, the more we wanted them. We were thrilled to find out in June that we could actually adopt them. They were already ours in our hearts by then anyway!
