We have felt the pull to adoption for quite some time. We have supported many friends through both domestic and international adoption and last fall, we both clearly felt God's call to adopt now! We have been pre-approved with 2 sweet kiddos from China's Waiting Child List. Sarah is 6 years old and is deaf. Tommy is 4 and has cerebral palsy. We are not strangers to children with special needs as we have 2 biological children, ages 17 and 15, who are both on the autism spectrum. We feel as though God has given us hearts for children with special needs! We are working hard as a family learning sign language and getting our home ready for these precious kiddos. We are so thankful for each and every person who has come alongside us, both monetarily and in prayer, to help this adoption. It was a huge step of faith to say "yes" to God's call to adopt, as we had no idea where the funding would come from, however, He is faithful and we've been amazed how He has provided so far.
