We are Todd and Cherie Vann! After 5 years of marriage and a few failed fertility attempts, we brought home a beautiful biraicial baby girl named Maizey in September of 2013. Now out of the clear blue sky, her 11-month younger, full-blooded baby sister is up for adoption and we are trying to bring her home!!! Choosing to adopt a biracial child, and the full-blooded sister of our daughter for that matter, became a no-brainer for us. Even in this time in our country, some of these children are hard to place. While we recognize the great need around the world for children in difficult circumstances to be adopted, we believe we should start in our own backyard. And so we are! We love Jesus, kids, dogs and each other. Our families, godkids, faith community and friends are so excited with us to welcome this child into our home. In fact, we are in shock!! But with that shock came a ginormous bill! :) We appreciate and do not take for granted this opportunity to ask for help.
