We've been married 30 years and have 12 beautiful children (3 born to us, and 9 chosen by us). It's hard to imagine that 13 years ago, soon after the Lord captured our hearts, that we knew nothing about orphans. We are so grateful that God touched our hearts to adopt a tiny girl from China in 2003! We believe the Bible is clear that we are to care for the less fortunate, and one way of caring is by opening our hearts and homes to orphaned children. While many people our age are planning for retirement, we are changing diapers and teaching kiddos to ride bikes, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We've been matched with a precious little two-year-old boy in China. He has spina bifida and bi-lateral club foot. Since we already have a Treasure with spina bifida, we are not afraid of what lies ahead. In fact, we look forward to getting our boy home and smothering him with all the love he can handle!
