God placed the desire to adopt in our hearts many years ago and we willingly embrace this calling and stand ready to love, honor and protect any child who is graciously placed in our hands. More than a year has passed since we "officially" started the adoption process. The road has been long and winding, but God has been with us every step of the way. We are keeping our eyes fixed on Him and trust that He is paving the way for this new chapter in our lives. Now we have entered the "waiting phase" and only God knows how long it may take before we are matched with a child; it could be hours, weeks, months or years. But we continue to trust in His plan for our family and know that He will bring the child that is meant to be ours in His perfect timing. We are so excited!
