We adopted our precious boy 4 years ago from foster care and we could not imagine our lives without him. This next adoption will make us a family of four, and give Caedon a sibling which is something he desperately wants and we are unable to give him any other way. God has made it clear in our lives that adoption is HIS plan for us and we are very excited to see what HE brings us! The process of adoption has made us marvel repeatedly at God's character and goodness. Having an up close perspective of redemption, restoration, unconditional love, and even pain, loss, and mourning are all qualities that are a part of your life as an adoptive family. We see God's character in the way that he shows his love for us, adoption of us as his children, restoring us through him and our new identity, all while he knows our sin causes us pain and we have to continually rely on his love and compassion to heal and help us. We have loved and waved goodbye to 10 foster children in our process of seeking more children through foster care. We are so hopeful that using a private adoption agency will be safer for our hearts and we will be able to find another child to be a part of our family forever!
