I am so excited to launch our PUZZLE FUNDRAISER. We designed a custom 500 piece puzzle with photos of my beautiful girls (I had to hide Katie's face as it cannot be published on social media). Each piece of the puzzle symbolizes someone who will help bring our sweet Katie home. Here is how it works: - Each piece is a minimum donation of $20. You can buy one piece or many pieces and we will write your name on the back each piece. - As the pieces sell, we will start assembling the puzzle. - When all 500 piece are sold we will have the puzzle framed (glass on both sides) as a beautiful keepsake for Katie. - The glass back frame is a wonderful way for Katie to see all the amazing people who came together in love and community to help bring her home. - You can buy your pieces by making a donation on this page. ABOUT OUR FUNDRAISER We are Dawn & Mali Southgate, and sharing our Adoption Fund Raiser to Bring Katie Home. Katie is a beautiful 8-year old orphan awaiting adoption in an African country who has won our hearts, and with your help we will become her new forever family! As a single parent, I am blessed with my daughter Mali, age 6 1/2 (adopted from Uganda in 2014). She is a bright light, who has thrived and blossomed since arriving in New York that cold Dec. afternoon. It is amazing that with love, a safe environment and security of family, she has blossomed in so many wonderful ways. Over the last few months I found myself being drawn to adopt again and started looking at Waiting Children on some adoption websites, yet not sure how I would finance another adoption. And for that reason I was not seriously considering taking action for a while until I came across the photo of Katie. As soon as I saw her sweet smiling face, she pulled at my heart strings. I made some inquiries with the adoption agency and after hearing her story felt even more driven to find a way for Katie to join our family. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR ADOPTION FUNDRAISER.
