After 3+ years of unexpected infertility this emotional journey has turned our attention to a greater purpose - opening our hearts and home to a child through adoption. It is amazing how quickly doors started to open and prayers were answered as we started this journey in March. Just recently we have been matched with a child from Kentucky who is due in early August! We're eagerly preparing our lives for this moment, and feel so blessed to have been matched so quickly! As part of this process there are financial committments that have tested and stretched us, and require us to surrender our pride and humbly ask others for help. The cost of adoption is $46k, and initially was a roadblock that held us back. Yet, our God is a God of unlimited supply and we trust that through the generous support of friends and family the needs will be met. So many of you have already asked to join us in the journey, and have helped in so many ways, even beyond just financial - we are in awe at the hearts of God's people and your love. Thank you!
