I adopted my first daughter, B'Elanna, from Zhengzhou China in 2012 and had been planning to adopt a second daughter once she was six years old. I'm in the US Navy and I was deployed in 2015. In every picture that B'Elanna sent to me it was always "Me and my sister" doing different activities. So I knew she was ready to be a big sister. I contacted my adoption agency towards the end of my deployment and started my paperwork. I returned from deployment the day before Thanksgiving, and my agency contacted me the next Monday saying they had a match for us! She is currently 3-years-old and living Zhengzhou!! I am asking for donations towards our adoption and travel expenses. Myself, B'Elanna and my Mom (Grammy) will be traveling to China to bring my second daughter home!! The picture above was taken while my mom was on an adoption advocacy tour to the Zhengzhou CWI. She was SO excited when she was able to meet her new granddaughter, Ayla Lynnmarie!!
