Almost 4 years ago we felt God tugging on our heart to consider special needs adoption. But first we got pregnant (the little red head spunky girl right there in the middle). When she turned 11 months we submitted our adoption application with All God's Children International and entered into the tedious and emotional journey of becoming adoptive parents. The AGCI China program was the best fit for our family (birth order, medical needs, etc) and so we joined the China program. 16 months later we welcomed the most adorable, silly, amazing little boy to our family (the big grinner right there in the middle). While in China I felt like God was telling us we would be back again, and now we know why. Our daughter is there waiting for us. She is a precious little 3 year old, shy and happy. She has Cerebral Palsey. As we are learning more about her needs, educating and equipping ourselves for bringing her home, we are falling more and more love with her sweet face and are so excited to bring her home! We were very blessed to be have been able to nearly fully fund Joshua's adoption ourselves (through some amazing circumstances that were clearly God's doing!). It was nearly $38,000 the first time around. We estimate the costs to be about the same. We are currently about 6 months from travel and still short about $14,000. In order to make this happen, we need our network of family and friends to walk hand in hand with us down this path. We would love for you to join us in this journey. Stay tuned to our adoption group (via facebook) :) With love.. The Andersons
