My name is Carrie and my husband is Scott, we met years ago at work. Quickly became best friends and now we have been married for 8 years. We knew one day we would have a family together we just never knew the path we would take to get there. We started trying five years ago and went through many fertility treatments as we were unable on our own. After many tears and heartbreak we realized that adoption was the right course for us. We began the adoption process last spring and we were approved this past December. We expected to wait a while as we were told it would take about two years however we got the call in February that we were matched! February 26th we brought our son home. We have raised and saved money for the initial payments and we have the final payment of $6,850 that is due at finalization.
